Thanks to Jeff and Andrea, we sold our home for an excellent price within three weeks of listing. From the start, Jeff & Andrea demonstrated excellent knowledge of the Haliburton real estate market. When pricing our house, they took into account the lack of inventory at the time and looked at comparables outside our home's immediate area. This allowed for them to list it at a more aggressive price that historical sales would have suggested - because it reflected the realities of the market and desires of buyers in that market.
Once they listed our home, they invested in marketing, hiring professionals to take high quality photography and video as well as purchased ads in the Highlander newspaper and on Facebook. They gave us a few tips to make the house look its best and were open to our ideas as well.
This marketing coupled with their database of potential buyers led to around 15 showings – as many as 5 per day on weekends. For each showing, they talked to the buyer's agent to explain the advantages of our home and followed up to get feedback, which was communicated to us, so we know how our home appeared to people seeing it for the first time.
These showings led to 3 offers, all at good prices. The offer we accepted was above the listing price.
Throughout the process, Jeff & Andrea went the extra mile to make us feel comfortable and to ensure that the listing and the transaction went smoothly. They replied to emails and texts extremely quickly, and always had a good sense of humour. They took care of all kinds of things – from arranging a pre-inspection to water testing - so we could focus on our move. We felt the entire process was expertly managed as if someone were looking out to make sure it all went smoothly, which they were.
I have already recommended Jeff & Andrea as excellent real estate agents and will continue to do so. Having professionals like Jeff and Andrea on your side makes all the difference.
When we decided to list our cottage, we didn't have to think twice who we would choose.
